JANUARY 2019

Mt. Emei Sage/Shaman Style Qigong

 TUESDAYS 12:00-1:00 pm

THURSDAYS 5:15-6:15

Begins January 22, 2019

(no classes 03/12/19 and 03/14/19)

This is classic Shamanic-style Qigong from the Hidden Immortal lineage. It includes 5 Elements and 5 Dragons Forms (standing and seated). The flowing movements are similar to Tai Chi, but done in place and provide an opportunity to strengthen the musculoskeletal system, improve balance, harmonize the organ network system, and calm the mind. As students become grounded with daily practice, they can develop gradual awareness and understanding of the relationships between the classic forms, self-cultivation practices, the way we live our daily lives, and the creation of harmonious communities. Regular practice affords opportunities to grow into embodiment of these ancient teachings.
